An academy forged in the field.
Knowledge Ladder Academy is a training organization with internationally recognized certifications, specializing in agility at scale, product leadership, and applied AI. The academy serves CIOs and HR training leaders who train teams, as well as Scrum Masters, RTEs, Product Owners, and coaches who train on an individual basis. Its starting point wasn't a corporate master plan. It was a practitioner's blog that became a book, then a catalog of certification programs. The purpose is passing on knowledge, not collecting logos.
What holds KLA together.
No dogma. No heroics. No slides without field experience. No gurus. No framework applied blindly.
KLA trains because its instructors have seen it, done it, gotten it wrong, and started again. KLA coaches because classroom teaching alone isn't enough to transform an organizational system. KLA writes because lessons need to move beyond practitioners' memory and become the common good of a community.
Knowledge Ladder is the ladder of knowledge. We climb it together. At the start, you need more of us. By the end, you need less. That's the sign it worked.
What guides every engagement.
Practitioner, not guru.
KLA relies on instructors who have lived transformation at scale, not on theorists. When a flaw exists, we name it. When a setup isn't ready, we say so.
No dogmatism.
No framework applied blindly. SAFe, Scrum, agile product management aren't religions. They're tools chosen to serve a context.
Organizational thinking.
An organization is a living system, not an org chart. KLA reads the weak signals and acts on structural levers, not decoration.
Credibility through practice.
No authority talk. Numbers that hold up, named cases, repeatable lessons.

Pierre Medina.
Twenty-five years in the field, at the crossroads of architecture, program management, and transformation at scale. Three foundations combined, not one.
The technical foundation. Engineering degree from ENSEA, certified Java developer in 2005. JEE architect, then Design Authority on critical systems: the Axa group's anti-fraud system deployed across 60 countries and 160,000 employees, broker calculation engine optimization at Société Générale (1k to 10k trades per minute). CTO at Pôle Emploi from 2009 to 2013, team of 30. Pierre reads an architecture diagram, speaks plainly to CIOs, and names a technical flaw when he sees one.
The program foundation. Management of complex projects and programs (50 people or more) at General Electric, Lacoste, L'Oréal, Christian Dior Couture, Renault. Audits commissioned by the European Commission, RATP, Docaposte, and DGAC. Delivery leadership across multi-site, multi-culture, multi-budget environments.
The agility foundation. Certified ScrumMaster since 2009, first certified RTE in 2017, Certified SAFe Program Consultant since 2018, Professional Scrum Master III in March 2025 (Scrum.org), the rarest certification in the framework, held by fewer than twenty practitioners in France. Three Agile Release Trains launched at Natixis across three different business-unit IT divisions. Successive trains at Axa, Murex, Eaton in Lausanne, L'Oréal, Christian Dior, Tissot, La Poste, EDF. Ongoing Renault engagement, rated under Renault's internal practitioner classification, 100% process compliance. Author of The Scrum Master Who Lasts, first published in French, then in English (2025). Speaker at Agile en Seine, Lausanne, Dakar.
